The African Environmental Youth Advisory
The African Environmental Youth Advisory
Our commitment to cultivating collective knowledge from all 54 African countries sets our organization apart. We strive to create an intergenerational, interdisciplinary, intercultural, and intersectional environmental education database that captures diverse expertise and perspectives across the continent.
We acknowledge colonial territories like Mayotte, Chagos Archipelago, Canary Islands, Madeira, Socotra, SADR, and others, are politically tied to external nations; however, their geographical location on the African continent means they face similar environmental challenges. Including these regions in AEYA's educational initiatives offers educational opportunities for people across diverse communities to collaborate on shared solutions that transcend political boundaries.
Our vision is to unite resources, advocate for evidence-based solutions to persistent environmental challenges, and celebrate environmental progress in our countries.
If you’re from any of the 54 African countries and passionate about publishing your environmental work, complete this form to join us.
